Artist Rose Frantzen and her parents, Wayne and Ellen Frantzen, purchased Maquoketa’s former City Hall in 1991. They converted the 1901, three story building (that had once housed the town’s fire station, police station and occasional classroom space) into a gallery and studio space.
Old City Hall Gallery features the works of Rose Frantzen and her husband, Charles Morris.
